Resilient. Rural. Community.
Blandin Foundation is all about Minnesotans imagining, leading, and growing resourceful, inclusive communities.
This is the new home page, but it doesn’t have any real content yet. For now, some example blocks are here for testing and tweaking.
Sample Block: Feature Half
Like before, these features are (roughly) half image and half text, with color and alignment options.
A link for the feature, which renders as a button with the selected color, is also optional.
Another Example Feature Block
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Sed vel lectus. Suspendisse urna magna, pretium et, tempor sit amet.
Sample Subheading
Here is some regular text, just to break things up a bit. Nulla pretium lorem at diam. Proin sed metus eget eros auctor molestie. Morbi turpis diam, iaculis id, pharetra at, porttitor vitae, nibh.
Example Block: Feature Full
This feature block uses the image for the full background, with text aligned left or right.
There are also controls for standard-width or full-width, plus image alignment of left, center, or right (this matters on small screens).
Papermaker Statue
Sculptor Ray Wattenhofer created the Papermaker statue, installed in November 1985, to represent the paper mill workers of the early 1900s.
Functional Art Bike Rack
Sculptor Greg Mueller created this bike rack to represent areas the Blandin Foundation serves: Reservations, Grand Rapids area, Iron Range, and Rural Minnesota. Learn more about Greg and his work at THE STUDIO | mueller-studio. Learn more about who the Blandin Foundation serves: Our Commitment.
Test Staff Block
Do we have side gutters on small screens?
